On behalf of the Rector of the University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev, a delegation of the Department of Tractors and Automobiles, headed by the head, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Otari Nazirovich Didmanidze, visited the largest exhibition of agricultural machinery in Russia - AGROSALON 2022.
At the exhibition site, scientists of the RGAU-MSHA named after K.A. Timiryazev got acquainted with the latest technical solutions of domestic and foreign manufacturers of agricultural machinery.
In particular, Vitaly Mikhailovich Vovk, Director General of Minsk Tractor Plant OJSC, presented to the delegation two unmanned tractors - BELARUS 3523i and BELARUS 112, capable of performing a wide range of tasks. For scientists, they conducted a test drive of an MTZ unmanned vehicle, an aggregated KRM-9 mower manufactured by Lidagroprommash OJSC.
The delegates noted the wide business and educational program of events, which presented the most useful practical information from agricultural industry experts, productive business contacts, lively discussions with the participation of representatives of government authorities, heads of industrial companies and development institutions.
- It is important that within the framework of the exhibition, students of leading agricultural universities can join the world of agricultural machinery, increase the level of knowledge and find future employers among the participating companies. The personnel shortage in the industry is still one of the constraining factors of the country's economic development, Academician O.N. Didmanidze.
As a result of visiting the exhibition, Associate Professor of the Department of Tractors and Automobiles Nikolai Nikolayevich Pulyaev noted special test drives, where everyone can sit behind the wheel of a tractor or combine and get complete information about the samples presented. In turn, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department Ekaterina Petrovna Parlyuk highlighted among the premieres of the exhibition the updated forage harvesters and grain harvesters from the Rostselmash holding, the domestic Kirovets tractor with an autopilot system and the Tuman-3 sprayer-spreader, which has no analogues in the world ".
